About The Hospital:

Ethel is in a hospital waiting room while her husband undergoes brain surgery, when Brenda, a devout Christian Scientist, arrives and announces she has come to pray for Ethel’s husband. Ethel is less than pleased. The two women are lawyers at the same firm but hardly know each other, and Ethel is a non-observant Jew. Brenda, however, steadfastly refuses to leave.

Writers Inspiration: This one-act is based on a true story told to me by my aunt Rachel. I changed the names to protect myself from inquisitive relatives.
