Paulanne Simmon's One Acts
The Bus Stop

About The Bus Stop:
Heidi McGovern is riding in a taxi when it is hit by a bus driven by MTA veteran Vincent Pellegrino. She refuses to leave because she believes the cab driver, Mohammad Abdul al-Aziz Medani, will need a witness to help him when the police arrive. Officer James Holmes is immediately attracted to the good-looking young woman and her keen sense of what is right, proving that justice is not necessarily blind.
Writers Inspiration: This one-act is very loosely based on a beautiful story related to me by a friend.
