About Larry, My Friend:

Alex, a young man at loose ends, seeks comfort at the print shop where his mother once worked. No one is left there but Steve, the gruff, overweight manager. As Alex exchanges memories with Steve, he learns that with understanding comes pain.

Writers Inspiration: Although much of this one-act is fictional, it is based on two men I once worked with, one a very kind gentleman who befriended my son, Alex.
